Troublegum returns to Future Perfect with a new single full of the deep, heavy, electro mayhem you know already from his massive debut single Politricks. Coming at you like a juggernaut on a one way street there is no escape from these punishing, syncopated drums and bass. On the A. side Bodybug a distorted funk riff squeals and squeaks throughout and is punctuated with a bodyhammer kick and snare that will shake your girlfriend’s ass and make you punch the air like a novice. The underlying beauty in this track is the way the riff keeps coming back to floor you each and every time. Sick!

The AA. side Sin Citric is a more progressive affair with a build up in the intro that drips like sweat off taught, tanned flesh and drops into a dissolving acid breakdown. The main hook that bursts out of the speakers like an alien Tiger stalking hidden prey will find you, wherever you are, and consume you for lunch. Prepare to be devoured! For the digi-lovers Gorden Zola is a beastly, maniacal, dancehall rampage that oozes quirky melodies and deviant sex-appeal. Rough! Three more winners from Troublegum and proof, as if you needed any, that Future Perfect are killing it in 2010.

The title track Sleazy is a bashy, barn-stormer of a tune with massive drums, a glitchy vocal hook and a funky but warped acid bassline which will touch all of your erogenous zones at the right volume. Man Like Me combine indie, rave, grime, ska and hip hop with matter-of-fact lyrics to create an unquestionably youthful British sound. Fronted by mild-mannered 23-year-old Camden pin-up Johnny Langer, Man Like Me have developed into one of the most original and exciting sounds to arise from a new breed of young home grown bands. They follow a lineage of artists such as Ian Dury, The Specials, Hot Chip and The Streets in making the everyday sound extraordinary.

You may have heard ‘London Town’, blasted out on the festival circuit this summer, with sex-panther performances at The Big Chill, Glastonbury. Lovebox and Bestival, the track also appeared on the Hot Chip ‘Bugged Out’ compilation.

After getting support from Rob Da Bank, Kissy Sell Out, Annie Mac, Ras Kwame, and more, we thought it about time to release this disgusting remix package, crafted by a handful of the most exciting young producers breaking out of the UK club scene.

The remixes are spread over the Future Perfect (Electro House) and Wicky Lindows (Dubstep) labels and feature bonafide belters from our own RackNRuin, hype-star Foamo, Dubstep don Doorly and George Lenton all flexing their dancehall muscle in truly jaw-dropping style.

The A side “Politricks” is like a musical steroid; Hard, agressive and habit-forming with bleepy hooks and a tearing, acid bassline. This is prime-time murder dancefloor bidniss which doesn’t let up til you’re gasping for breath and weak at the knees. Gnarly!

The flip “Testoterrible” is equally merciless with tight-as-fook techno drums, quirky percussive loops and big room FX. A bit-crushed, face-melting synth in the breakdown warns of the mayhem ahead and with true finesse Troublegum switches up the groove over and over again. Resistance is futile to this militant, mutant funk which will chew you up and spit you out like yesterdays porridge. Blaow!

RackNRuin is back!! After his Future Perfect debut, the critically acclaimed ‘SkitzoVIP’ went on to feature in a TV ad for Orange and is subsequently being caned by discerning DJs worldwide. Never one to rest on his laurels, when he dropped these three absolute gems on our doorstep we were agog with excitement.

First up on the A side is ‘‘Do One’’ a shakey, stompy belter that winds up into the first drop of gargantuan bassweight with the sound of a racing motorcycle having its heels nipped by a Dyson hoover fuelled on uranium. It then continues to pile on the pressure pound after pound in a frenzy of sidewinding synths and sliding pentatonic scales. Radio rental!

The flip ‘Screaming Siren’ starts off with exactly that, followed by a dose of maximum impact sub-low pressure, tech-percussions and party-starting high-jinx manifest in the cheeky stabs, electro squiggles and more tension than Michael Jackson’s coroner’s hearing. Dark.

For the digi-lovers a bonus track called ‘Odilon Redon,’ another bumpy number with an offbeat bassline, more acid squeaks and shrieks and an infectious groove full of quirky twists and loads of fun tech-trickery.

All in all another mammoth package from RackNRuin proving once again that the future’s not bright, the future’s perfect.
