For Pure Filth’s next offering our resident veterans the Equalizers are back with a feel-good anthem for everyone who loves the old skool vibe. Don’t Rely (On the Radio) is a collaboration with London based song-writer Vonesvonic, and is a nostalgic reflection on the golden era of music radio.

Combining the Equalizers deft touch with catchy hooks, club-stepping beats and Vonesvonic’s vocal styling this is a real crowd pleaser which should attract prime time radio play as much as it will dominate dancefloors this year. Calling all raving cru!

On remix duties Wicky Lindow’s Marchmellow turns in a superb dubstep interpretation which makes great use of the vocal with a more blunted approach and a fantastically deep half-time drop. A squelchy bassline twists under hypnotic vocal delays all coming together to form a subliminal whole which will suit festival sets or late night parties equally. Blazing!

The final remix in the package comes courtesy of Tomb Crew who are dominating clubland with their eclectic selections influenced by grime, dubstep, jungle and much more. A truly authentic slice of nuskool hardcore with rolling amen breaks, housey keys and a pinpoint, bouncing sub bassline this is a wonderful glimpse into how the rave scene used to sound, updated and elevated to maximum effect. Absolutely massive, and guaranteed to be raising hands and lighters in your area. Respect!

Newcomer to Wicky Lindows; Dubterror drops his debut single for the label with these two storming slabs of sub low pressure. Dubterror is a music producer and sound engineer from Turin, an industrial city in the north of Italy. His deep passion for sound led him to London where he has been busily honing his craft, releasing an album on Universal Egg last summer to great critical acclaim, featuring collabs with Warrior Queen & Echo Ranks.

His approach to making music is freeform and instinctive, usually preparing
multi-tracks, recording several versions and only then choosing the one that his instinct leads him towards, in the style of the dub pioneers.

The A Side “Chatty” is an atmospheric excursion into deep sonic textures blended with conscious vocals, electro-styled alarm synth and a cheeky modulated bass line which powers under a stop-start, half-time break . Using the arrangement to switch from sections of high tension and melody to alternate with full on dancehall rave vibes this is a surefire winner with all the steppaz. Fiyah!

The B side “I’m leaving” is a more melancholic and brooding air with jazzy synths and organic percussion peppered with piano stabs. Bringing some new depths to the table with an ear always finely tuned to the danceoor, Dubterror is a welcome addition to the Wicky Lindows camp.

For the next Wicky Lindows we are proud to release the debut original single from George Lenton. George has been making big waves in blogworld with his stunning reworks of classics such as MGMT’s ‘Weekend Wars’ and Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’ and infusing them with his own unmistakable blend of crystal clear production, modulated basses of seismic proportions and half time beats.

No stranger to the 720bass camp he has already appeared on Wicky Lindows remixing Man Like Me’s massive anthem ‘London Town’ which has done major damage in clubs all over the world and received critical acclaim. This package consists of 3 tracks, one of which is digital only. The A side ‘Price’ is an angry slab of twisted mayhem punctuated with rock guitars, a live-sounding break and a bassline that will blow the bloody doors off. A peak-time track sure to please dubstep lovers from all camps with its dancefloor energy and sonic depth.

The AA side is an even filthier affair full of minor keys, rawkus samples and more of the deadly bass pulses, depth charges and squeaks that are synonymous with George’s productions. The digital only track ‘Cold Rocker’ is more of a late-night cut with dub fx, electro stylings and a heads down vibe that rounds off this release and sets a new benchmark for Wicky Lindows as we march into 2010.

Pure Filth welcomes new-signing Tony Anthem and Axl Ender to the camp with these two gargantuan slices of musical bassweight.

Hailing from Norway, Tony is no stranger to Breakbeat having released Drum n Bass under the name Future Prophecies on labels such as Certificate 18, Renegade Hardware, Moving Shadow and Breakbeat Kaos to name a few. Such a prodigious musical background really shines through both these tracks which are full-blooded, balls to the wall rave monsters that will blow parties to smithereens!

The Breaks mix on the A side starts with a funky rolling break in the intro which gives way to a Prodigy-esque lead and a drop which is peppered with stabs, reece bass and a contagious steppin groove.

The Dubstep mix on the flip comes with a more eerie vibe but no less energy as mechanical drums and bass bounce frantically.

All in all a real treat for jump up lovers everywhere and more essential ammunition for your record box.

Doorly, who’s credits include Ibiza Rocks resident, remixer of Basement Jaxx, Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris, The Temper Trap, Kanye West and more drops an upfront slab of ice cold, sub low pressure. Half-time drums grind masterfully as acid-flecked bass stabs and rapid-fire soundbwoy FX reverberate like depth charges 100 metres underwater. Hot!

On the flip 720bass cohort and dubstep maestro George Lenton brings a softer sound to the table with this remix full of brooding menace and atmospheric pressure. Huge fizzy pads and vocal glitches add to the tension in this beautifully measured and polished production. Keep your eyes peeled for George's debut up next on Wicky Lindows, you're in for a real treat...

For this Wicky Lindows release we are proud to reveal new signing Numan, a 18yr old Dubstep junkie with a wealth of production knowledge and sonic arsenal to match. The title track 7th key glimmers with lush, warm and analogue-sounding arpeggios switched up with a fidgety acid bass that bounces with mad energy, and is undeniably contagious. Watch for the switch! Support so far from Starkey (US) and Mary Anne Hobbs, who recently aired his Radio 1 mix!

On remix duties, much in-demand, Finland based “501” delivers a smooth, beautifully polished piece which intersperses layers of melody with a detuned square bass and lots of lovely atmospherics. Packing plenty of dancefloor punch this will please punters early doors or late night
with its smokey vibes.

Lastly for the digi-only crew Wicky Lindows’ own Marchmellow has turned the track upside your head and incorporated lots of jazzy licks and vocal stabs to great effect in this collage of tweaked out bass synths and a deep, warm sub. Groovin!

After the widespread mayhem and critical acclaim of the Blood Sport EP the Equalizers have teamed up with the Magnet Men to furnish your ears with another killer EP of two singles in the form of ‘The Illness’and ‘Emetic.’

The Illness blazes with stripped down percussions, a haunting middle-eastern backdrop, a sitar and ethnic vocals which unravel into an upfront pressure drop chockabloc with the Equalizers trademark energy, sick edits and dancefloor fire. Brokout!

Two basslines chase each other like Itchy and Scratchy on steroids as hi-octane sub-low pulses ricochet around a modulated throbbing bass while a hell-for-leather break slews the riddim section. Luscious washes of fizzy pads and synths keep everything else grooving while you’re being chased through the deep desert in Hummers full of gold bullion! Hold it down! For the digital-only crew there is an absolutely dutty vocal mix courtesy of Illaman spitting acid rhymes and bringing a different swagger to the plate. Wicky Lindow’s own Noisses also steps up with a wicked electro-tinged Dubstep remix which will tear holes in the dancefloor and please anyone who like their beats broken.

For the flip come the Magnet Men with ‘Emetic’ an absolute beast of a tune with Isaac Howlett on vocals, complementing a brooding and menacing vibe throughout. Snarling bass synths reverberate deep while hypnotic bleeps will puncture even the hardest of souls, and yet again the Magnet Men have come up with a sound so big it could break out your speakerbox and eat you alive. And it will! HA!

The second installment of the Deviant Creatures series, VENT are exploring new territory with more bassbin-busting action packed with razor-sharp beats, and thick sonic textures bursting with their trademark dancefloor fiyah.

The A side ‘Lock Up’ is a track full of contrast and brooding tension. A melancholy pad in the intro gives way to sirens, acid bass and rattling percussions over half-time drums. Absolutely deadly like an assassin in the night, Lock Up is peak-time rave music which would scare your Gran. Blang!

The AA side “Hardware” is a different thing altogether. Mechanical, steppy and glitchy drums give way to a bowel-churning reese bassline, and cantankerous jungle drums and bass with massive subs. One for the headz as haunting pads and bleeps twist you out while the beats lay waste to a dance near you. Pull up!

For the digital crew two tracks to whet your whistle. “Shape Without Colour” is a downtempo excursion with ambient layers, ethnic percussions and warm,
analogue-sounding bass. Truly a filmic experience this is a treat for the senses and perfect back to mine material. Sofa not included.

Lastly and also digital only is “Mantra." Blissed-out melodies, an emotive vocal and a rolling breakbeat in the intro build into a lazer-fire drop with mad edits. Maintaining a Balearic feel throughout this is truly a 21st Century anthem, another cracker from VENT and more weird and wonderful Deviant Creatures for your record box.

Next up on Wicky Lindows, after the chaos caused by Noisses with “Square Face” and “End of”, comes new Jersey-based quartet Schema.

The A side brings us “Chutney Grip,” a half-time, brooding behemoth of a tune. Commencing with a resonant chime which drops into lazer-fire bass and modulated, angry stabs, peppered with short shots of percussion and stepping drums. An echoing bleep underpins the melody as this naughty number raises the pressure pound for pound. Scolding!

For the flip “Street Scum”: Eerie, unsettling incidentals punctuated with dialogue, bursts forth with bass kicking and screaming like a spoilt child with spiked knuckle dusters and a bad case of ADD. Machine-gun bass pulses and acid squeaks clamour for your attention while the sharp, and pristine production on the drums will please the more erudite fans with their low-slung swagger and shuffling grooves.
